Birthday Party & Venue Hire Policy

1. Food & Allergy and Liability waiver for a Little Plaza Waiver 

- Families are welcome to bring their food and beverages for the party.

- Little Plaza is not responsible for any food allergies or adverse reactions from food consumed on the premises.

- It is the responsibility of the party host to inform their guests of any potential allergens in the food provided.

- By hosting an event at Little Plaza, families acknowledge and accept entire liability for any food-related incidents.

- Little Plaza requires all parents to remain on-site to supervise their children at all times. It is the party host’s responsibility to ensure that the Liability Waiver is read and signed by the guardians of all attending children before the party begins.

 

2. Decoration

- No sticky decorations, tape, glue, or adhesives are allowed on the walls to prevent damage.

- Balloons, banners, and free-standing decorations are permitted but must be removed entirely after the event.

- Any marks or damage left on the walls or furniture may result in an additional cleaning or repair charge.

 

3. *Venue Usage Time & Setup/Cleanup - for Happy kids venue hire party package. 

- The party venue hire time includes setup and cleanup time.

- Families must ensure that all decorations, food, and personal belongings are packed away by the end of the agreed hire period.

- The venue must be returned to its original state, with no rubbish, food packaging, or decorations left behind.

- Rubbish must be taken away by the party host, as Little Plaza does not provide waste disposal services for private events.

- Staff will conduct a final inspection, and families must sign a ‘Sign-Off Venue Return’ form at the end of the hire period.

 

4. Baby Play Area

- The play mat area is a ‘shoe-free’ zone. All guests must remove their shoes before entering.

- Families are responsible for ensuring their guests follow this rule.

- Any damage or missing toys will be charged to the host family.

 

5. Exceeding Venue Hire Time

Venue hire is for a fixed duration, and exceeding the agreed time may result in additional charges:​

  • Exceeding by more than 15 minutes: The standard half hourly rate will be charged.

  • Exceeding by more than 30 minutes: The standard hourly rate will be charged.

Guests must vacate the venue on time and ensure it is fully restored to its original condition. All food waste must be taken away by the family, and no rubbish should be left behind on the floor or around the venue. If guests require assistance with cleaning and waste disposal, a cleaning and waste collection fee of £30 will apply. Please inform our team in advance if this service is needed to help avoid overtime charges.

6. Agreement & Compliance

- By booking a party at Little Plaza, families agree to adhere to all house rules and policies.

- Any breach of these policies may result in additional charges or restrictions on future bookings.

- The party host is responsible for ensuring all guests comply with these rules.

7. Time exceed deposit 

- You will be asked to deposit 'Time Exceeding deposit ' before hand over the venue from Little Plaza. 

- £50 Time Exceeding deposit is required for All- inclusive party package, £100 required for venue hire party package.

For example, exceeding 15 minutes: £30 charge (half an hour). Exceeding 30 minutes: £50 per extra hour for all-inclusive party package.  Exceeding 30 minutes: £60 per hour for venue hire party package will be charged.

-You will be asked to sign the 'venue return sign off ' form after your party to be confirmed by our staff. 

- Deposit will be refunded in Three working days if venue return form is signed off by the venue staff.

8. External performance entainers 

​

- Please give us at least three weeks to arrange the business paperwork before it can be confirmed that we will invite them into Little Plaza.

9. DIY Games & Activities 

​

- If you wish to include your games or activities during your event, Little Plaza requires a detailed list of the planned games for approval.  

- As a dedicated kids' venue, we must ensure that all activities are age-appropriate, safe, and suitable for the space. Some games may not be permitted due to safety, space limitations, or venue regulations.  

- Games involving messy play, excessive noise, physical contact, or potential hazards (such as throwing objects, water-based activities, or items that could cause damage) will NOT be permitted. 

- All approved DIY games will be subject to a £50 surcharge, covering additional time for assessment, venue preparation, and potential cleaning requirements.  

- To avoid disruptions, DIY games must be conducted within the designated event area.

- Please consult with our team in advance to confirm which games are permitted and ensure compliance with venue policies.

10. Photo and video 

​

-Photos and videos taken at Little Plaza during your event are subject to prior agreement between you and your guests. Little Plaza will not capture images or videos featuring children's faces directly without the explicit consent of the party host.

- Brand Representation: If photos/videos are shared on social media or other platforms by customers, they should positively represent the venue. 

- Use of Professional Equipment: If professional photographers or videographers are involved, you might want to know in advance.

- Use for Promotion: If families tag Little Plaza in public posts, Little Plaza would consider they are allowed to be engaged with their content or resharing (if appropriate) for business promotion.
